Feasting on expert information
On March 21, Westfield Doncaster held its first retailer breakfast for the year, featuring guest speaker Terry Hawkins. More than 100 Westfield Doncaster retailer staff attended the breakfast at Maningham Council’s offices and came away inspired by one of Australia’s leading presenters in human performance.
Topics included peak performance, taking the customer from “hello” to “see you next time”, personal and team productivity, the facts on customer feedback and finding the balance between work and home.
Ms Hawkins has 20 years’ experience as a trainer and presenter in a myriad of industries and draws on a vast foundation of knowledge, techniques and experience.
She specializes in all areas of people performance, including communication, team building, leadership, sales skills, personal styles, conflict resolution, time effectiveness and personal development.
Having trained more than 100,000 people in the business sector, Ms Hawkins knows what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to learning. She challenges people’s existing thinking and has them looking at their business, life, in a different way.
The breakfast was a how-to-session that left attendees with to-do lists and ideas that they could put into practice straight away.
